Sarah Sage, Clinical Nurse Consultant Wound Management, RN
Sarah holds a post-graduate degree in wound management, a Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing Practice and has formal training in lymphoedema management and motivational interviewing. She has been a nurse for 21 years and in wound management for 13 years. Sarah coordinates the Royal Melbourne Hospital Chronic Wound Service, the wound CNC team and works privately as a Nurse Practitioner with Healthcare United. She has been involved in 2 RCTs on prophylactic dressings and pressure injury development and recently published on the impact of COVID-19 on complex wound care patients and staff skin injury.
Jane Jolley, Co-Manager Social Work & Culture Diversity, RN
Jane is an Allied Health Manager at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She completed a Bachelor of Podiatry with Honours in 2007 from Latrobe University, Melbourne and a Masters of Public Health in 2015 at The University of Melbourne. She has fourteen years’ experience treating diabetes related foot complications in an acute hospital setting. Her research in pressure injuries and non-invasive vascular assessment has been presented at both Australian and international conferences. Jane obtained her endorsement to prescribe scheduled medicines in 2020, joining 3% of all Australian Podiatrists to hold this endorsement.
